Calling all Good Republicans!
There will be a Roundtable this upcoming Monday, July 26th, 2010 at the Spencertown Town Hall at 7pm.
Some things on the agenda, issues within the town, an update from the County GOP meeting, talk about the new voting machines, and a review of our endorsed candidates.
Chris Gibson the Republican Candidate for Congress against Scott Murphy will be attending the Austerlitz Historical Society's Blueberry Festval, Sunday July 25th at 1pm. May Reminders
A few reminders of some upcoming events on the local and county level.
Locally, We will be having a Roundtable discussion this Monday, May 24th at the Spencertown Town Hall at 7pm. Bring your thoughts, comments and friends as we will be discussing various town topics.

Just a reminder that the state convention is rapidly approaching and you should make an effort to contact your state committee rep. The state committee reps. and their emails are as follows:

There is also a wonderful silent auction being organized by Katy Nichols with some great stuff to bid on and ALL $$$ goes towards supporting GOP Candidates!! Tickets are $35/pp and sponsorships are still available!

Assemblyman Marc Molinaro (R,C,I-Red Hook) will host a town hall
meeting in Ghent with local residents on Thursday, May 27. Molinaro
will engage in a dialogue with citizens on a series of local and state
issues. He will address such topics as economic development in the
Hudson Valley, excessive local taxes, reforming the dysfunctional
system in Albany, and any other concerns raised by attendees. The
event will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the White Stone

March in to Spring
There will be an Austerlitz Republican Round table meeting, Monday March 22, 2010 at 7pm at the Spencertown Town Hall. We will be discussing what is happening in the town and at the County Board of Supervisor Level. Lastly, we will talk about what is happening with Columbia County Republicans.

The town is currently working with New York Rural Water Association to track aquifers to help the Planning Board. Please complete the well survey at www.surveymonkey.com/s/SP55FK7 - http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/SP55FK7. All data collected is confidential.
Lastly, there will be a special town board meeting, Thursday March 25, at 7pm with the Town's Attorney, Tal Rapplyea. Items to be discussed Outdoor Wood Burners, the current Town's Zoning Law,and anything else that you may want to know. Stop in with your questions.

February Reminders
I know that this is short notice, however we will be having our "Republican Roundtable" tomorrow night, Monday, February 15th, at 7pm at the Spencertown Town Hall. Everyone is welcome to attend and bring a friend or neighbor.
You are invited to attend the 49th Annual Columbia County Lincoln Day Award Dinner, Tuesday February 23rd at Kozel's Restaurant located on 9H in Ghent. Cocktails start at 6pm, with Dinner being served at 7pm. The guest speaker will be Harry Wilson, Republican Candidate for New York State Comptroller. The price is $35. per person. Can use an extra $50.00 a month? The town is looking for someone to attend one to two meetings a month to take notes and work the land use computer program. (you will be paid $50 a meeting) Computer experience is a must. If you are interested call Sue Haag at 518-392-3260.
