Letter to Editor for William Hogencamp

Letter — Hogencamp will bring experience to town court

I am writing to endorse Bill Hogencamp who is running for Austerlitz town judge. Bill is a Columbia County native who will bring a wealth of experience to the town court. He is a former U.S. Army MP and county law enforcement officer who went on to have a 32-year career with the NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services, where he worked primarily with the local officials.

I had the pleasure of serving with Bill on the Chatham Town Board when he was town supervisor and I was a councilman. I found Bill to be intelligent, hard working and, most important, fair and impartial to everyone who appeared before us.

Austerlitz is lucky to have a candidate with his qualifications agree to return to public office. Bill deserves our support on Election Day.
