What do you think are the top three issues facing your town/city? What would you do to address these issues if elected? The top three issues facing the town I would say are the restoration and transformation of the old Methodist church into the new town hall. This is something that should be done in a timely fashion and at a reasonable price. The larger building will be an advantage to all, especially the judges. This I feel needs to be done without losing the character of this historic building.
The second issue is the town park and making sure we use common sense when upgrades get done. The summer program has been a wonderful experience for my children and many others. The counselors need the full support of the town for the excellent job that they do.
The third issue is the highway department and its ability to upgrade the town roads and equipment. I believe that my knowledge in this area would be helpful being that it’s the largest portion of the town’s budget.

What do you think are the top three issues facing your town/city? What would you do to address these issues if elected? It is becoming a retirement community and is becoming very expensive to live here. The school taxes are high; I’m against state mandates. It’s becoming harder for those with a fixed income to stay here. It’s going to be tougher and tougher to stay solid without burdening the taxpayer more. I want to continue to look out for the health and welfare of the people who live here.
If you are the incumbent, what are you most proud of accomplishing? Always trying to save the town on purchasing new equipment. We were able to get a portion of Route 203 paved. We were able to purchase the old Methodist church next door to the Town Hall with grant money from the Ellsworth Kelly Foundation.
