Austerlitz Republicans Make Lunch!

The Austerlitz Republican Candidates provided lunch for Columbia County Habitat for Humanity volunteers who are currently building their 5th house on Mill Street. The Candidates were given a tour of the Mill Street, Hudson neighborhood, and learned about the organization and how it provides affordable housing to a family in need.

They may even go back in November to help finish the house!

Austerlitz Republican Roundtable

I know this is short notice, however if you have nothing planned on Monday night I am trying to organize a Republican Roundtable at the Spencertown Town Hall starting at 7pm. Everyone is welcome, bring your thoughts, comments and Republican Neighbors.

Also, a reminder that on Sunday, September 27th at 1pm is the Northern Columbia County Republican Picnic, tickets are still available. This is located at the Ghent Sportsman Club.

Northern Columbia County Republican Club BBQ

On September 27, 2009 - ANNUAL CHICKEN BBQ - at the Ghent Sportman's Club, County Route 9, Ghent, NY. The grounds will open at 1PM, with hot dogs, hamburgers, sausages and peppers, soda, beer, etc. The Chicken BBQ meal will begin around 2:30PM, followed by some short speeches and concluded with a raffle. DIRECTIONS: From Route 66 in Ghent, take County Route 9 east for about 1/4 mile, The Ghent Sportsmen's Club is on the left. There's plenty of parking.

Slate of Candidates for 2009

On September 8th, 2009, the Austerlitz Republicans chose their slate of candidates for the November 3rd, 2009 election. The candidates are Jeffrey W. Braley Sr. for Town Supervisor, Carol Pinto, and Matthew Verenazi for Town Council, Susan Haag for Town Clerk, Tax Collector and Robert Meehan for Highway Superintendent.

These candidates have been endorsed by the Conservative and Independence Party.

We wish them much success in the upcoming months.
