Absentee Ballot Results
As I am sure you are well aware, there have been some issues with
Absentee Ballots at Board of Elections.
This afternoon Austerlitz had its day and presented our ballots for review. Of the 93 ballots that have been returned 39 were opened. However of the 39 that were opened, it gave us enough votes that we
needed to sweep all of the Town Board Seats, plus the Town Supervisor. Even with the 52 ballots that will be reviewed by a Judge for further review, we have enough of a lead to claim victory!
Quick Summary
Braley (R) - 368 Jahn (D) - 304
Verenazi (R) - 397 Pinto (R) - 377 Van der Weit (D) - 278
Corglione (D) - 275
Haag (R) - 638
Meehan (D) - 641
It was a good election, everyone was a qualified candidate, and I am
glad that the Republicans shined through to win!

Lastly, I would like to provide the link for CC Scoop they have done an excellent job covering the absentee ballots: http://www.ccscoop.com/
On other news I hope you will stop by on Monday Night for our
Roundtable event. You can also stop in to hear the stories of opening Absentee Ballots!
All of our candidates did an excellent Job! Congratulations to all of them.
Thank you for your vote and support!
Sincerely,
