The election season is upon us.
The election season is upon us.
A quick reminder that the Primary for Sheriff is this Tuesday September 10th, 2013. The Polls are open from 12noon to 9pm at the Spencertown Firehouse located on Memorial Drive. If you need a ride to the polls please call us at 518-545-4670(GOP)0.

Austerlitz Republican Caucus 2013
The Austerlitz Republican Committee will be having its
Caucus 10am on Saturday, June 15th at the Austerlitz Town Hall, 812
State Route 203,in the hamlet of Spencertown NY 12165. The Purpose of the caucus is to nominate
candidates for the positions of Town Supervisor, Tone Clerk/Tax Collector, 2
Town Council Members and Highway Superintendent. All town Republicans are welcome and
encouraged to attend.

In Flanders Field
In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
